Storm Point is named after the Cape of Good Hope which Portuguese sailors christened “Storm Point” in honor of its often raucous weather patterns. Storm Point is a line from Craven Wines made by Mick and Jeanine Craven, a married winemaking team based in South Africa in the Stellenbosch region. The pair met in Sonoma in 2007 during the harvesting season when they were both working on vineyards. While Mick is originally from Australia, Jeanine is South African and when they decided to start their own business, they relocated to her home turf.

This mineral-driven chenin blanc is energetic and lively on the palate with a blend of ripe stone fruit and citrus zest flavors. The finish is salty and slightly herbaceous. Excellent solo or with tropical seafood dishes.
