From their vineyards in Dezizes-les-Maranges, brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet, oversee some of the top Côte de Beaune vineyards: St. Aubin En Remilly, the top sites in Maranges, Puligny 1er Cru Folatières, Puligny 1er Cru Referts, Batard Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet, and some of the best parcels in Santenay. This area is known for its limestone ridges and specializes in chardonnay and pinot noir production. The brothers released their first vintage in 2005 after they inherited some long held family land in the area. They’ve been sighted as producers to watch in Burgundy, making some of the highest quality pinot noir as some of the most reasonable price points.
Aromas and flavors of wild raspberries, blood orange, red cherries, and a hint of oolong tea. It is bright, juicy, and silky, with a lip-smacking core of crystalline minerality throughout.
