Cave de La Loterie (The Lottery Cellar in English) is a 25 hectare orchard in Swiss Normandy. Régis Aubry founded the orchard and cidery in 1999 on a former cattle farm and began the regenerative farming process. It has been certified organic since 2009. He and his team grow 30 varieties of apples and 6 varieties of pears, which are used to make cider, pommeau, perry and calvados.
We love traditional French ciders with a little bit of funk on them. The cider is dry and yeasty, with notes of warm hay and sweet grass.
