Winemaker Lúcia Freitas and Filipe Cruz run Quinta da Mariposa in the heart of the Dāo region of Portugal. Lúcia’s grandfather planted the first vines in 1985. Before becoming a winemaker, Lúcia got a degree in chemistry and went to work for a Portuguese wine company, producing large volumes of wine. When returning to Quinta da Mariposa, she committed to sustainable agriculture and brought on manager Filipe Cruz.
Floral aromas of magnolia and honeysuckle with yellow plum and silky minerality on the palate. Excellent with pork dishes.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
