South African winemaker Jasper Wickens began his wine career by working at the Zevenwacht Wine Estate learning conventional wine making techniques. His interest led him to study viticulture and oenology at Stellenbosch University. After he graduated he spent a few years traveling and working in famous wine regions like Napa, California, Priorat, Spain and Rousillion, France before returning to South Africa to found Swerwer in 2012.
The palate is loaded with fresh, juicy, red berry fruit and an earthy edge of black tea and green herbs.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
