The Sportoletti family has been making wine in Umbria for generations. In the late 1970s, brothers Ernesto and Remo Sporoletti decided to open their own label with 20 hectares of vineyards outside of Assisi. In the late 90s they hired an oenological consult to help them expand their business and replant many of their vineyards. They currently grow grechetto for their Sportoletti, Assisi Grechetto 2023, as well as merlot, cabernet franc and sangiovese. The brothers also own about 2,000 olive trees, and make their own extra virgin olive oil.
Dry with a surprisingly silky texture and mouthfeel. Fresh and herbaceous with notes of yellow peach and jasmine. Six hours of skin contact.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
