Maison Monmousseau was founded in 1886 by Alcide Monmousseau in the heart of the Loire Valley. The property contained some valuable quarries of tuffeau stone that had sat dormant since the building of royal castles in the Loire. Alcide transformed the quarries into winemaking cellars which extend 15 kilometers and are perfect for cellaring wine. The house is known particularly for their Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines and was family owned until 1994
A blended sparkling from the Loire Valley with a classic, grippy texture, lively bubble and cold stone minerality. Hints of stone fruit with a nice acid structure.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
