Winemaker Jose Pitiera was born and raised in the Alentejo region of Portugal and has spent the majority of his winemaking career there as well. He specializes in amphora winemaking with indigenous grape varietals, taking advantage of the limestone, schist and granite rich soils and the maritime influence from the Atlantic.
This bold red blend has notes of blackberries, dark cherries and crushed violets with earthy tannins and a touch of cocoa. Pairs well with hearty dishes like bean stew.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
