The Stamnaki wines, a name that translates to “little wine jug,” are made with grapes grown in small family vineyards in Denthis region of Greece. Stamnaki Wines is one of the results of the Denthis Project, which aims to celebrate indigenous Greek varietals, vinified traditionally, by small family wineries. The project's name comes from the Denthis region, the oldest appleation in the world.
The dry, approachable white wine has a sweet and very floral nose. What begins as a soft minerality reaches a crescendo with a high acid finish. Notes of white peach, lemon and rose petals.
