Luca Amerio is the third generation of his family to be involved in wine production in Asti. His grandfather bought and began working the land in the 1960s and then passed it to his sons as Asti became a more well-known winemaking area. Now at the helm of his family’s estate, Luca draws from his
family’s old-vine plantings in the heralded limestone-clay soils of Asti to produce both classic, appellation-based wines and fresh, appellation-defying bottlings.
From the importer: “Vino da Sete” translates as “wine of thirst,” or as the French say, “vin de soif.” Straw yellow with golden accents, this textured white boasts aromas of peach, apricot, and mint. The wine echoes its bouquet on the palate with pithy yet subtle fruit, vibrant acidity, and a long saline finish. Perfect for an aperitivo, barbecue with friends, or pizza night. Serve with a chill but not ice cold.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
