The Dubard family farm their wines in the rolling clay and limestone hills of southwest France. The family settled down as growers and winemakers in Bergerac, just east of Bordeaux, in the late 1970s. Their vines are situated on calcareous-clayish hillsides overlooking the right bank of the Dordogne river. Certified sustainable farming methods, including grass between vines, promotion of biodiversity, water conservation, and carbon neutrality helps to maintain the character of the terroir. The French recently gave the family the HEV  (high environmental value) certification, which covers biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategy, management of fertilizer use, and management of water.

Chalky and bright with notes of lemon and lime zest, salt, and oyster shell with slight nuttiness on the finish. Excellent with seafood and pasta primavera.
