Stella Crinita is a biodynamic project established in 2002 by husband and wife duo, Joanna Foster and Ernesto Catena. Although Bodega Stella Crinita is located in Argentina’s Uco Valley, Joanna’s family is from Malaysia, India and the UK. Ernesto Catena is from an established Argentine wine family and the two met when her social environmental work brought Joanna to Argentina in 1995. Together, they planted their first vineyard in the Vista Flores subregion of Tunuyan, and became interested in natural wine making in the early 2010’s.
This pet nat is made from single vineyard viognier with 1 day of skin contact. A honeysuckle nose is followed with bracing power on the palate that is round and slightly savory with strong notes of cape gooseberries (also known as goldenberries).

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
