Il Mostro, or The Monster, is the newest venture of Poggio Anima, a company that produces single vineyard wines from sites around Italy. Il Monstro is their line that uses natural winemaking and some blending and uses grapes from certified organic vineyards. Their first vintages were in 2020 and began with ancestral method sparkling wines of the white and pink colors respectively. They’ve since expanded to still wines.
This cerasuolo leads with pink grapefruit acidity and aromatics and finishes with a slight candy chalkiness. Perfect for solo drinking or creamy cheeses.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
