Cédric Gravier was in the wine business for decades selling to cooperatives before founding Domaine La Suffrène with his grandson, Cédric. The Domaine is 52 acres, planted on steep hillsides in Provence, all of which require manual labor. The business focuses on sustainability in other ways like forgoing chemicals and supporting an agroforestry project on their land, where they intermix vine plantings with tree plantings. They also recycle their waste and make vinegar with tasting bottles, as well as soap with olive oil residues.

Bandol makes for an excellent fall rosé. Full bodied but with a crisp finish, this rosé has citrus highlights with robust stone fruit notes and lengthy herbal finish.
