Founded in 1927, Famille LaPlace is in its fourth generation of winemakers. Their estate Château d'Aydie is perched in the Pyrenees. The family produces over 30 cuvees but specializes in Madiran, a red wine made the appelations around a village of the same name. Madiran is focused on the highly tannic red grape, tannat.
Deep and savory flavors of olive brine, smoked meats and dried fruits. The wine is herbal and full with a tannic finish.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
The sale will not be completed until you pick up your wine and present your valid US drivers’ license or passport. We are limited to 4 bottles (3L) per transaction. If you are interested in ordering more than 6 bottles, send us an email to info@nineoclockwines.com
