Twenty-eight year old winemaker Maria Jover has been leading Parajes del Valle since its founding in 2018. Valle is made up of four distinct parcels, all of which boast vines that are up to 40 years old. They are maintained by the age-old “Terraje" system, meaning that the vineyards are rented out to the farmers, who give back 7% of the production in turn for taking good care of the vines. This method has been a staple of winemaking in this region for hundreds of years and has helped to keep the diversity of Jumilla wines alive. 

This orange only sees 15 hours of skin contact but picks up gorgeous color and aromatics. Notes of white peach and jasmine tea are prominent on the palate and the finish gives a hint of white pepper spice.
