Ploughman Farm Cider is located in Adams County, PA, about 200 miles from Pittsburgh. The Wenk Family has been farming apples on their property for over 200 years and is now in its seventh generation of farming. The Wenks focus on American heirloom apple varieties such as Spitzenburg, Golden Russet, and Stayman, as well as select apples like Dabinett, Stoke Red, and Kingston Black for their bittersharp and bittersweet flavor profiles. They also grow peaches and cherries.
This is cider with pears and quince blended in and a totally unique beverage for us! It brings the funk with a strong floral aroma of fresh lilies, high acid punch and fresh apple fruit notes. Excellent with barbecue and sheep’s milk cheeses.

In accordance with Pennsylvania liquor law, all of our bottle sales, including the wine club, will be pick-up only from our store inside Lawrenceville Market House.
